This book was engaging from the start and it was hard to put down. The characters are very well developed in each chapter. The tease that there were serious past pains that Hayley and Kate were hiding had me anxious to learn more about each character. The supporting characters, the scenery, the adventures - all of it was well written. The relationship building was another great tease factor that will having you turning each page late into the evening when your eyes are hurting from staring at the screen for too long. It ended before I wanted it to, but I like the way the author wrapped up the story.Product details

I am picky about what I read and seldom give less than 5 stars. If it holds my interest and I enjoy the book---it gets 5 stars. I wish that I could give this one more than 5 stars. The story line was one that I would never have thought about. Hayley's fear of being "found out" totally came out in the writing. My heart hurt for her because so many years of her life were made so dark by having to live with what had happened when she was just a young girl. Hayley and Kate had strong personalities and it was easy to feel empathy for both of them. The ending was a little surprising but in a very good way. If you are wondering about reading this, please stop and just get the book. It is really good!
Really good book with interesting characters and storylines.
This was a really good story and it brought up a reality that I had never considered before. It definitely made me think.
Wonderfully developed characters. I only wished the book went on a little longer (or a sequel?). Looking forward to reading more of this author's books.
I really liked both characters. Hayley's dark secret was especially intriguing. Wasn't so into some of the drama but that's the nature of the beast, I suppose. Fun stuff.
